The food spike

I think the guy in the link is wrong; here is why.

The barrier to entry for growing food is very low. With higher prices, comes the incentive to grow food.

The pre-conceived notion stated in the link is that “only” big agriculture will provide the food American’s need.

Well, I am going to grow my own!

Here’s a prediction…look for “chicken lawsuits” where people start raising chickens, rabbits, cows, etc in the suburbs. Look for neighborhood coops where food crops are grown in cooperation to get the bulk and variety people like.

Fly over this land and you will see that most of it is empty–farmable even!
