The truism “I don’t have to be good at everything” is difficult to accept, yet here I do.

This blog is my scratch pad for brainstorms, random thoughts, family, friends, pets, sports, politics, barefoot pretensions and everyday things. It is, simply, me.

And small blogs like this one have their value–to me at least. I store memories here, large and small, dear and mundane; with time, they are the most precious thing I own.
